I have been hard at work, for the past few weeks making Halloween costumes. When Leyton told me that he wanted to be a skeleton back in September, I couldn't believe the 'cheap crap' that places are selling, and for how much!
This year I decided that its time to go old school... and make our own. Seriously... for about $40, I had everything I needed for all 4 costumes... and if we didn't have to wear 16 layers underneath, to prevent having to wear a coat over them, the kids wouldn't look like they put on 40 pounds each! (I guess I'm going to have to dress them up and take pictures inside!)
The girls had a great time on their first Halloween! They were so excited to dress up, and had a good time at the Halloween party, and Trick-or-treating... Even if the temperature was 40 degrees!
