We had a busy few weeks back in the States, and I'm sorry that we didn't get to see everyone. Hopefully, it won't be another whole year before we are home.

Leyton spent a lot of time with his "buddy", Opa.... Who took him and Nick to fly an RC dragonfly at the park, and to the Mud Bog, to watch the monster trucks fling mud...














It was nice to catch up with some old Friends from high school... though the time was short... The kids and I spent a day at the Columbus Zoo, with Steph & Caden....













It was also nice to catch up with the 'Guys'... and their girls, at dinner one night. Of course it is always a good time, and never a dull moment...

Honey.... We're Home!

Well, after 3 great (but hot) weeks in America...we are home. The kids did great on the flight... in part because of a great seat mate.... Steve, the Yo-yo Pro.... You meet the most interesting people, when you are trapped on a plane for 8 hours.

Down on the Farm...

It is always nice, when we are home, to make the trip 'down on the farm'... We love our time with Uncle Billy and Aunt Mary. This trip, was no exception.... Here are some pics from the visit...

Ear piercing...

I know that folks have mixed opinions on getting their kids ears pierced... so do I. But, I was 4 when mine were pierced, and I think they are easier to take care of, when the kids are younger... so.... My mom and I took Ava to have her's done....
She did well... only cried for a minute, and was asleep in the car, before we pulled out of the drive.

My baby sis graduated last week...

She finally made it.... barely... lol... just kidding... she graduated with a 4.0GPA. I'm glad that we could be home to celebrate with her.

Last week, was a busy one... Opa was a brave soul, and took (cousin) Nick and Leyton camping and fishing. Ava and I went to check them out, and snapped a few pics.

Home... sweet... home....

Well, after a few really crazy weeks, the kids and I made it to Ohio. We are hanging out with Oma and Opa, and Aunt Courtney... and are doing a little shopping.... We are excited to be home for a few weeks, and enjoying our time. Probably won't be posting much... and there won't be any pictures until we get back to Germany... but I thought I would let you all know that we hadn't fallen off the planet! Just enjoying some R & R!
